Buckwheat flour pancakes for NAVRATRI FAST !
Upwas kuttu ka Dosa is a type of pancake made with a mix of buckwheat flour eaten mainly during Fasting days.They are very healthy and easy to digest due to their fruit base.
So let's look at this buckwheat (kuttu) dosa recipe.
1 cup buckwheat flour
1/3 cup water chestnut flour
rock salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper
2 green chilli chopped
1 tbsp Desi Ghee/ Clarified Butter/Oil
1 cup water to match pouring consistency
- All you need to do is, in a bowl add all the ingredients along with water and mix well. The batter should be runny like any other dosa batter.
Keep it aside for 5 minutes.
- Heat the tawa and pour one ladle of the batter on the hot tawa and move the ladle in circular motion from left to right. Pour a little oil /ghee to roast.Once done, roast on the other side too and serve hot. You can also prepare stuffed Buckwheat Paratha in a similar way.
